Individual Therapy

My approach is one in which your perspective, as the ultimate expert regarding your own experience, is prioritized. In individual therapy we will analyze the structures in your life, both current and past, that function to maintain anxiety, depression, and other forms of emotional pain. We will explore the ways that these factors have been shaped by your experiences while practicing new coping strategies and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I integrate recommendations based upon your personal strengths and preference with exploration of your experiences and interpersonal dynamics, supporting you in self-discovery while I provide you with expertise related to the treatment of emotional symptoms, relationship difficulties, and trauma.
